Updated Banking Schedule for Ramadan
As per the official SBP announcement, the following adjusted hours will be observed by banks throughout Ramadan:
Monday to Thursday:
- Operational Hours: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (without any break)
Friday:
- Operational Hours: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM (without any break)
For customer transactions, the following schedule will be followed:
Monday to Thursday:
- Public Dealing Hours: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (no breaks)
Friday:
- Public Dealing Hours: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM (no breaks)

Implementation in All Banking Institutions
An SBP spokesperson confirmed that all commercial banks, microfinance banks, and development finance institutions will adhere to the revised Ramadan schedule to facilitate smooth banking operations.
Other Sectors Adjusting to Ramadan Timings
In addition to the banking industry, several other sectors have modified their working hours in observance of Ramadan:
- Pakistan Railways has adjusted its reservation office timings to better serve passengers during the fasting period.
- Government Offices in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have introduced revised schedules for both five-day and six-day workweek offices.
